Sodium thisulfate  is a common thiosulfate, a colorless transparent monoclinic crystal. Sodium thiosulfate is easily soluble in water and reacts with strong acid to produce sulfur. Sodium thiosulfate is an antidote to cyanide. It is colorless, transparent crystal or crystalline fine grain; Odorless, salty; In the dry air has the weathering, in the wet air has the deliquescence; Aqueous solutions show weak alkalinity. can be combined with a variety of metal ions, the formation of non-toxic sulfide excreted by urine, but also desensitization. It is clinically used for treating cyanide and nitrile poisoning, bismuth, iodine and lead poisoning, as well as treating skin pruritus, chronic dermatitis, chronic urticaria, drug rash, scabies and tinea.
