Disodium Hydrogen Phosphate Anhydrous is a white crystalline powder or granular inorganic chemical. It is freely soluble in water, slightly soluble in cold water, and insoluble in ethanol and organic solvents. The 1% aqueous solution shows weak alkalinity with a pH value of 8.8-9.2.
This product is hygroscopic in the air. It is stable under normal temperature and pressure. When heated to 100°C, it removes residual moisture, and decomposes into sodium pyrophosphate at 250°C. It features high purity, stable chemical properties and low impurity content.

Widely used as food buffer, acidity regulator, stabilizer, emulsifier and moisture retention agent. It is commonly added in dairy products, meat products, bakery food, beverages, condiments, milk powder and ice cream.
